RELATED TICKERS: TASR
Taser has evolved from 'the ultimate story stock' to a defensive stock that is growing internationally and producing good cash flows, and despite some spectacular incidents, it is gaining acceptance as the preferred non-lethal weapon of choice for law enforcement agencies. It has also recently released a consumer product. It has no real competitors despite all the hullabaloo from Stinger. Lawsuits have either been dismissed or have settled out of court.

The stock recently lost about 25% because it missed analysts estimates for earnings and revenue, but the numbers were nevertheless still very good. The street was expecting EPS of 0.05 while they came in at 0.02 because of R&D expenses. This represented a double of the earnings year on year and an increase of 47% of revenue growth yoy.
I bought in the mid $7 about 18 months back, hence it was a no-brainer to load up again on Taser (I bought a second 1/3 at $7.65) . I expect Tasr to be volatile but ultimately rewarding.
