Hi I am barely beginning to understand buy and sell...
I read about big money players purposely trying to keep a stock price within a range to have their options come in the money... It makes sense that after the third friday, that pressure will rebound. Does this make any sense and if anyone knows about this I would love to read it or be directed to some posts about it??

with the holiday shopping a wash and housing not horrible, im looking at the swing in the houses of congress to generate momentum in areas. be it stem cell research, environmental energy alternatives, or tax and spend on whatever... maybe im not enough into the market the last few months but im haveing a hard time seeing a general direction and leading sectors...

tough for me to decide what area to jump into this holiday season. numbers look good for some areas and tough in others. walmart says down target says up?? im looking for pullbacks in strong performers like hilton hotels, gamestop, or bottoms in out of favor area like alternative energy, or techs types lucent, nortel, mot???
