Feb 24, 2010 02:19 PM The biggest bubble in history will coming crashing down.
Wednesday, February 24, 2010 Biggest Bubble in History We know that modern Western man has a great history of always being invested in the wrong thing at the wrong time. Why? Because greed is a huge motivator and we always feel like everyone else is making money someplace that we aren't. So a bubble starts to build and the larger it grows....the bigger the pop.
Let's think back to the tech stock run up in the late 1990's. Stocks like Yahoo and Amazon...basically anything that had the word "dot-com" in it were going up 50% per year. We all started hearing stories at the water cooler of someone who doubled their money in 6 months....and we start to get jealous. And that went on for 3-4 years in a row....now we are angry that everyone got rich but us (we believe anyway)...so we move all our 401k or IRA into the Tech Stock dot-com fund....just to watch it crash and most folks lose 50% with no hope of recovery.
From there we move all our money to real estate because everyone starts hearing of how everyone is doubling their money, flipping homes and all are going to be multi-millionaires,....everyone BUT US!!
So we move our money into cabins and bigger homes....just in time to watch the whole market crash. Now MILLIONS of people are upside down on homes and cabins....and millions may just decide to walk away from them...thereby causing more intense pain for that market.
Now everyone tells themselves they have learned their lesson about risk so they are going to move into bonds where they can earn reasonable rates without any risk. So ask yourselves...is there pain soon coming in this segment of the market?
According this analyst Robert Prechter....this bond market is sitting on the biggest bubble in the history of the world...and it is about to pop.

High Growth stock (TSTC) is at $14.75 pretty amazing its down nearly -$10/shr from highs Feb 10, 2010 10:30 AM | about stocks: BIDU, RINO, CAGC, ASIA, LFC, CHN, FXP, SINA, NTES, SOHU, PWRD, CHU, CHA, CTRP, EDU
Why is it amazing that its down nearly -$10/shr from highs?
Because the reason it ran up to highs was due to rev. guidance of $70M for full year 2009 during the Q3 forward guidance.
It reported $38.9 million for the past 9 months so subtract it from $70M and your left with $31.1M for Q4. You read that correct, TSTC will report almost as much revenue in Q4 as it has reported in all the 3 previous qtrs combined. Thats the reason I believe the current 4 week crash in its share price is short-lived.
TSTC will certainly shine in the sun on earnings day.
They recently re-affirmed Revenues for full 2009 and are still calling for $70M.
Here are some data from Q3 for comparison:
-- Third quarter 2009 revenues increased 124.7% to $18.9 million year-over-year; gross margins were 52.7%
-- Third quarter 2009 net income increased 281.8 % to $4.2 million year-over-year with net margins of 22.3%; EPS was $0.41 vs. $0.11 year-over-year
-- For the nine months ended September 30, 2009, revenues increased 86.1% to $38.9 million year-over-year; net income increased 96.8% to $7.4 million year-over-year; EPS was $0.71 versus $0.36 year-over-year
-- WFDS product represents about 20% of third quarter revenues
-- Accounts receivable decreased 19.6% to $59.2 million for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009, compared to $70.8 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2009
-- Telestone reaffirms guidance of $70.0 million in revenues for 2009 based on strong order bookings for the balance of the year.

The reason investors need to know this is that almost all of these semiconductor stocks are down since they reported, and it’s important to remember, Cramer said, that SOX stocks are now secular growth stories such as these that have nothing to do with the larger economic issues. The bottom line: The Sox are back, and for this reason, Cramer thinks investors should buy one of the semiconductor stocks.
He thinks they should be recognized as products of a secular trend because we use more semiconductors in gadgets, and these gadgets are being embraced by emerging middle classes everywhere from China to India to Latin America. Plus, the Mad Money host thinks that SOX is twice blessed, not only for their products being used in tremendous growth, mostly related to the smartphone revolution, but also to the potential new customer base, which could amount to roughly a billion people, spotting you 700 million emerging members of the middle classes just in China and India alone.
Cramer said investors need to comprehend two concepts, cyclical and secular growth. Cyclical refers to a company that may not have control of its destiny and bends according to the economies around the world, which is a sign of weakness. Secular means a company has something else going for it besides the economy, a trend that’s bigger than anything the business cycle can throw at it. And, Cramer said investors will pay a premium for this type of stock.
