 Last year new wind power projects accounted for 42% of all new electrical generating capacity in the USA. US wind energy can now supply over 25,000 megawatts, enough to power almost 7 million homes.

Here on Long Island it is duck hunting season. Yes even in this maul to mall island there are still wild ducks waiting to be shot. In fact we still even have a deer hunting season. Of course there are rules about how many ducks you can take, and of course you have to shoot them. You are not allowed to just poison a whole pond and hope the ducks land and die.   [more]
