Alt-A Mortgages: Seeking understanding...

I must admit.. I don't know much about this. I've read quite a few of floridabuilder's posts (among others), blogs, and other sources and they were all very insightful about the current subprime issues, but I can't recall any deep mention of Alt-A mortgages and their implications. I finally finished Alan Greenspan's book last weekend and it made mention of the vastness of these loans, and I read a blog that stated that the subprime issues we are currently facing are only the tip of the iceberg once Alt-A mortgages begin defaulting.   [more]
