I have made no secret of the fact that my portfolio here is one that I play with, buying and selling, chasing the market. I try out ultra ETF's and the stocks that others talk about as a hope that somewhere along the way, my score will go back up to something closer to where it used to be. (I no longer am shooting for getting my 99.6 or 99.7% back, I was thrilled to make it into the 60% group earlier this week.) Then I get frustrated and ignore the entire thing, focusing on my real life trading instead. WELCOME TO CAPS This is a road map to some of the possibilities avialible for new and not-so-new CAPSTERS!! Some of the names and blogs have changed, but hopefully you will find some old favorites and some new and interesting possibilities. For those of you who have just joined us, welcome in. This is something of an introduction to some of the fantastic folks in the world of CAPS. You will find people ready and willing to answer questions, to help out in all manner of ways, and to argue all sides. I hope you will enjoy this community as much as I do!
There is a danger of information overload in the beginning. When I started I had loads of questions, so I asked questions and I kept track of the blogs that gave me good ideas. Some of the blogs that helped me the most are here. So are blogs written by others that have real information that needed to get out, have some great authors, or are just a lot of fun. Do you think that the problems with the monetary situation would be easier for the government and the Federal Reserve folks to understand if we wrap it in a cartoon? I doubt that this can stay around long, so I will also refer you to Mises.org - the home of this cautionary tale. [more]
