And designate a driver, be safe out there, and all the other Mom-type things that you are too old for someone to be telling you as you head out the door - but know that people do care about you and want to see you start next year safe and sound. Of course, how your head feels tomorrow is completely up to you!
I am headed to watch football! ;)
I found the following article when I was looking for direction on Netflix. I believe that I have the entire article here. Attribution and even a contact email are provided. For my part, I am interested in what you might have to say on these stocks. I have followed the Motley Fool disclosure policy at the end, giving what information I found on the stocks named. Now, hopefully, it is your turn. I need some folks with a better grasp of numbers than mine to help me outl Thanks in advance, Mary.
For those who might want to hear it, see it, or read it again -
The song is by Joan Osbourne. It asks a question.
This was in my incoming mail this morning. I want to share it with you. It speaks for itself.
It is the Christmas season! I just had a frustrating traffic snarl and learned something. A tiny candy cane handed to a clerk with a smile was a great boost. I forgot all about the driver going 30 on a highway, the person that coasted to a stop blocking the exit for everyone - well, maybe not forgot. It just didn't really matter any more. What sorts of things take just a little time or kindness and reward you with a wonderful dividend of sheer joy? Here are some of my 'no-trouble' easy ways to spread Christmas spirit.
Apparently the Bush Tax breaks have been extended but no one in Washington is all that pleased about it. Obama, the Democrats, the Republicans all have uses for money - as much as they can get, but they did get at least some wake-up call from the election of so many people running on a ticket of lower taxes. Outoffocus linked this article in a blog that questioned the idea of tax breaks coupled with increased spending. Reading the link was enough to anger me as well, but it is because I think that our "representatives" have forgotten who has the ownership of that money in the first place - and in this case, the representatives are of both parties. I have had enough of the Washington entitlement mindset. This is anger, pure and simple. Skip it if you are having a great day and don't need a rant!
It's good to be home. After three days of no access to my blogging account, I am glad to reunite my name and my account. Hanginout was supposed to be a paper trading account with no blogging, no commenting, no recs, nothing except stock picks. I suppose that has been blown out of the water completely now. My thanks to the Motley Fool'er who is responsible for putting this Humpty Dumpty back together again. Since some few remarks went missing at the same time, I had a very short bit of concern that I had said something really terrible. Surely I couldn't have managed to get myself suspended and no one bothered to tell me. How very un-CAPS-like. I should have known better.
