Would you sell MSFT to buy TNDM right now?

I would make a small profit on MSFT.  Future prospects for MSFT are not bad but TNDM seems way more undervalued with a PEG of .57, forward P/E of 11, and intrinsic value of at least $22.54.

Insider Trading - Seyhun

I am currently reading Investment Intelligence from Insider Trading by H Nejat Seyhun.  VERY interesting read.  I am not even half way through the book yet, but his research so far indicates very positive correlations between insider buys and returns up to 1 year in the future.  Here's my question: this book is copyrighted in 1998, why haven't more people followed what he is saying to have a good idea where the market and individual stocks are going?  (Or have they and I was clueless?) There is a massive amount of data (especially the aggregate insider trading), but has anyone taken the time or does anyone offer a service the capitalizes on the findings in this book?  I am aware there are plenty of sites that offer subscription based insider info, but haven't looked into the specifics of many.  [more]

DNN and crazy market

I didn't have much money left with which to buy, but todays crazy overselling has got to be blown out of proportion.  What changed between today and Friday to justify over a 16 % drop in value for a mining company?  The answer is nothing.  Congress will figure out a way to waste our money on this bailout and all those trigger happy big wigs will get excited and pump money back into the market again.  I think we can expect a lot more unjustified swings in the market for a while.  Man I wish I had more money available to use right now.  Over the long term, this has to be GREAT time to buy in.  [more]
