The Economic Crisis is Worsening

September 23, 2010 – Comments (12)

Red lights are flashing again, but this time they may stop and stay red. The FED members are arguing amongst themselves right now. They are out of tricks, and are left holding the bag. Could be a very scary haloween.....    TS          Dollar Devaluation, Debt Default, Austerity and Growing Inflation ....

As quantitative easing again gets underway the failure of QE1 becomes more obvious. The crisis worsens and the illusion of any recovery is light years away. Over the past three years almost $13 trillion that we know about has been thrown down a rat hole to bail out banking, Wall Street, insurance and selected elitist entities. The dollar figure is probably much higher. We will never know, because the privately owned Federal Reserve makes its own rules. Everything they do is a state secret. The five successful quarters were only a mirage. The funds have been vaporized among lending and financial institutions worldwide. There has been no accounting and there never will be as long as the Fed is not audited and investigated. We are in an inflationary depression and have been since February 2009. Massive injections of liquidity do not work, nor have they worked for centuries under these conditions. You cannot resurrect an insolvent country in a system that is corrupt. The controllers of the US economy are about to lead the American economy and financial structure into a great dark pit. The US and the world is soon to face a global breakdown deliberately engineered by the forces of darkness.   [more]

New Drugs Stir Debate on Rules of Clinical Trials

September 22, 2010 – Comments (2)

As a biotech Investor this story strikes a nerve. Is this correct approach or not ?    TS                       By AMY HARMON Growing up in California’s rural Central Valley, the two cousins spent summers racing dirt bikes and Christmases at their grandmother’s on the coast. Endowed with a similar brash charm, they bought each other matching hardhats and sought iron-working jobs together. They shared a love for the rush that comes with hanging steel at dizzying heights, and a knack for collecting speeding tickets. Target Cancer

Over 50, Fears of Never Working Again

September 21, 2010 – Comments (0)

We are at noosebleed levels In the market again. Charts look to be hitting major resistance very soon. We have headed back up on LOW VOLUME,and the market has discounted a lot of bad news about the economy. I am not a buyer, and haven't been for 3 months. The FED Is talking about using more smoke and mirrors, and I just do not see the market zooming much higher from here. Too much perfection priced In for me. Unemployment Is still RISING,jobs are not being created, and In November 6 MILLION people will lose their unemployment benefits. Banks are still not lending, and people and businesses cannot get credit. The consumer Is In hiding while wall street seems to be In a jovial mood....    TS       For the Unemployed Over 50, Fears of Never Working Again...    by Motoko Rich

Patricia Reid is not in her 70s, an age when many Americans continue to work. She is not even in her 60s. She is just 57.But four years after losing her job she cannot, in her darkest moments, escape a nagging thought: she may never work again.  [more]

Remaking the homepage has brought out the spammers.

September 20, 2010 – Comments (3)

With less blog posts by actual Investors and members, the spammers are taking over the site. By making the site less user friendly to the members that actually try to contribute to the community, they have opened the door to a wave of spam that has taken over the Investor blogs....   Just one of my opinions regarding the new and Improved home page... The end of the world (as we know it)

September 14, 2010 – Comments (3)

Chuck DeVore has a theory. He Is the one that could have helped save California from almost certain disaster. But,right on cue, the mis-Informed electorate chose "Carly",who was fired from H.P after she tried to drive the company Into the ground....   TS            Endless money forms the sinews of war.” – Marcus Tullius Cicero – 44 B.C

I’m normally not given to pessimism about America—we are a strong people in a rich land—but our political class has set the foundation for disaster.  [more]

Wow what a cluttered home page

September 13, 2010 – Comments (7)

I check back once and awhile to see If maybe the home page of the fool has tweaked a little In favor of the bloggers, but every time I come back It Is worse than before. What a cluttered mess of advertising to the detriment of the buzz box,and the bloggers that attempt to follow a good thread. I have only posted a couple of times In the last few months because It just seems like a futile efffort to put so much time Into research for the betterment of the fool community, only to have your thread lost In cyberspace within minutes to hours. I have noticed a lot of good bloggers have disappeared since the home page was changed, and I rarely use the site anymore. I learned a lot from this site, and there are some very sharp stock pickers here. Port and Sinch Inparticular have made some great calls, along with many others here.  Oh,what could have been...   TS  [more]
