Top Ten Highest Rated New Players

Today I cracked the top ten highest rated new players list.  Unfortunately most of my rating comes from accuracy points from active picks that are below +5% so I can't lock them in.  The SP 500 should continues it's upward ride and gets above 1400 which will let me lock in the points from all my municipal bond picks..

The way I organise my picks is through the length of the pick.  The picks that I am uncertain of I give a 3-week or 3-month rating, If I feel pretty good about a pick I'll give it a 1 year rating and if I am dead certain it gets the 5 year tag.  [more]

Shorting municipal bonds

Tonight I'm shorting about 60 different closed funds that invest in municipal bonds.  The advantage to municipal bonds is that the interest they earn is not taxed.  The securities investments in my caps account are not taxed either so that advantage is neutralized.  [more]
