if stocks are tiny portions of a business, then why would i invest in business with no dividend?  why do i wanna buy a business that doesnt give its owners a cut? would i walk into a francise subway and give the owner 5k for a 5% interest in his subway, but no cut of the profits in return, but hopeing he does well enough that i can sell my stake next year to another sucker for 6k?  Seems kinda dumb if you shrink it down   [more]
