For the most part I don't like alternative energy stocks. The technology does not yet seem feasible. However, now is not the time to bet against them. The fed is lowering interest rates, showing a willingness to crash the value of the dollar. Look out for $100+ barrels of oil. Just two years ago, some financial wiz on t.v. was calling it a "superspike". Excited speculators and politicians pandering for votes will soon pour lots of money into alt. energy companies. I'm not willing to stand in front of that train. Therefore, I ended my underperform picks for Ballard (BLDP), Pacific Ethanol (PEIX), Verasun (VSE), and several others. [more]
