Well the weather is due for a BIG change this week here is South Dakota. We've only got 40 acres of corn left in the fields but many of our neighbors have much more than that. I still see fields of beans out there not harvested. With snow in the forcast they may have to kiss those beans goodbye. [more]

It should be interesting to see how the grain markets will reflect all the rain during the harvest season. Many South Dakota farmers have had to stop harvest because of the rain. You still see many soybean fields yet to be harvested as you drive around the countryside. With this rain you could start seeing many of the predicted bumper crops dropping in the fields. Moisture is not a friend to the soybean at harvest time. [more]
