Railroads - If you missed the first cycle, Now's the time to buy

We've been watching the railroads for some time.  We added CNI and are now ready to add a few more that we believe are going to move over the next 6 months to a year.  Why?  The two big reasons are cost of fuel and the other is the increasing number of imports coming in to the US.  There's more efficiency in a gallon of fuel for an engine pulling 50-100 cars vs one truck hauling just a small fraction of the same goods.  The US level of imports continues to climb - and the cheapest way to get goods from coast to coast is via train.  [more]
