As we are seeing today, the alternate energy stocks are soaring after being beatne up recently. FAN is also a good ETF to own in case the Democratic Senator from Illinois Wins.

I wouldnt discount infrastructure and water retrofitting plays either, including INSU and MWA among others. Soon after the $13,000,000,000 a month war in Iraq ends for better or worse, I would be keen on Obama putting in money to start social government programs to have unemployed workershit the street to work maybe with an incentive to get free education.

 

I like FAN, TAN and these little water plays. Any thoughts?

 Some things I have been thinking will do well under Obama...

Medical equipment companies, I have a list at home I will be picking tomorrow if Obama wins. BABY is one of them.

Stem cell related biotechs, some of these are trading incredibly low after 8 years of insane federal regulation. Pick up a basket full and if one wins it will pay for the whole lot and then some.

I like Trinity (TRN), Zolt and Amat.  Trinity builds the wind towers and is involved in road and bridges too.  Zolt make the carbon fiber for the blades and AMAT is heavily moving into the solar technology.  I own them all, they've been beaten down, I wish I had more money to buy more here.

Sounds like infrastructure could do well.  Can anyone give a name of a National concrete company?  O has talked repeatedly about bridges and highways.  That's a lot of concrete.

I would be cautious about anything related to medical.  The economics of how his plan will come together are murky at best.  It may well be that hospitals get squeezed.  And I believe it will take quite a bit of time for any substantial changes to be made.

Watch for Agriculture plays to be back in favor.  Like POT and John Deere.  Under Obama, I expect ethanol to live and thrive.

I dont think ethanol from Corn makes any sense. If anything, look out for the lobbying power of Jeb Bush (W's brother) and bringing in brazilian technology for sugarcane ethanol. In that case CZZ will be good pick. I know Iowa voted heavy to keep that corn industry alive, but if he is a common sense president, which he always sounded as such, then he has to shrug the corn ethanol industry off. I like the solar stocks and thanks for the insight into specific stocks for alt energy. I just added a stem cell research stock, but will be adding zolt, amat and trn. THANKS

good concrete company I added was CX which took over Rinker with operation in Vegas, most of florida last year and looking to expand.
