2009 will be a great year for everything that has worked before the meltdown and some newbies.  Gold, Silver and Agriculture will all rise to new highs.  Also, water will be the next bull market so plays like SBS make sense.  Also look out for natural gas to make new highs.  I like Ep and xto in this sector.  Biotech should also see some consolidation going on look for celgene or gilead to be acquired by a big pharma possible pfizer.
