We Has Been Had!

We are searching diligently under rocks and in high peaks and hidden caves of finance looking for the businesses that will shore up our sagging personal economies -- and we are looking to the Wrong Kind of Shores!

As of This Very Afternoon, according to the ABC - that's AUSTRALIAN Broadcasting Corporation - I'm not even on the right Continent for goodness sakes! - , a 130-kilogram bluefish tuna has been sold for $140,000.00 Amerucan Dollars!   Now, somebody who knows math, tell me - just what does $140,000 for 130 kilograms work out to per pound, or per ounce?

This fish is no Charlie the Tuna for sure!  It was caught off the north tip of Japan where all the best sushi types go to hang out and avoid the hook.  A Hong Kong entrepreneur will be serving this King Fish up in Hong Kong and in Tokyo's upscale Ginza district at a good deal more than whatever he paid for it!

Where's my fishin' pole?

About $490 a pound or $30 per ounce. Nearly three times the $/ounce than silver.

What about selling drugs to supplement your income - you know how much 130 kilos of weed goes for in the upscale Ginza district?

Mary953,

I you have not seen it. I think our good friend alstry may have gone over the deep end...

According to alstry, you and I are apparently more alike than even we thought. Now we are in fact the same person!

Mary953,

You are by far my favorite blogger on this site. The only other one who even comes close is DemonDoug and he doesn't really blog so much as get other people to comment (but I still like his posts). I only have a few people on my favorites and its just to see what picks they make since the list of favorites doesn't tell you when someone has written a new blog...instead I look up your profile everyday to see if you have written something new.

I didn't see my "favorites" list as my "favorite" bloggers. I think they should have a seperate list for that. I only have "favorite" stock pickers. But if you want I would be happy to add you to my favorites in a heart beat. In fact, I will add you. I just wanted to explain why you weren't there already.

I just thought it was sort of - well - favorites.  Bloggers, those who leave neat comments, have really cool attitudes, real helpful (I need lots of help with this stuff).
