I haven't done enough to really run through this bugger, but it did come on to radar last month. The Pharm business is always an interesting place. Must be something in the water out there.

I see that zzlangerhans thinks their drug Riquent will fail the phase 3 trials, which is odd since drugs typically have aan 85% success rte in phase 3...

looks like Biomarin disgarees as they bought equity in LJPC ver cheaply and will get some of Riquent if it passes.

yeta analysts all seem to agree that Riqeunt's chances of pasing are low...

weird, seems more like a short canididate than a long unless I'm missing something...

What is happeing with the stock right now is a pump/stock manipulation.  No interest on my end to invest in this company.

eld- greate take on the companies market. I didn't even look into there reasonable business model. Usually the first thing I look at.

anchak- I found it interesting after it ran up 25% yesterday and saw it on the home page of caps. I did run a screener last month in Bio's and found this one. I took a brief look at the books, stage 3 condition, and the current stock purchases. From my end, it was nothing more than that.

binve- The biopharm industry leaves the door wide open for funny comments that is for sure. The La Jolla area is definitely an interesting place.

Tasty- I saw zz's post too. Another well informed pharm player on caps that I like to follow. I think the Biopharm industry is going to have a interesting year for 2009. 

Thanks for the input and sorry about the confusion. Let the runup take place and then short accordingly.
