My wife and I are expecting baby number three this week.  It is scary to think about the spending involved in a new child right now.  Forget college, I have to put together a savings plan for pre-school.  You want to know where to put your investment dollars right now.  Try "kiddie" stocks, NSRGY.PK, JNJ, CEC, DIS and HAS.  (for those without kids that would be Nestle, Johnson & Johnson, Chuck E. Cheeses, Disney and Hasbro)

I'd be a little wary of CEC. All the parents hate it and it gets a disproportionate share of police calls.

While CEC can be a scary place. It is totally dependent on location.  Older sites are no longer always the most desirable however many current locations are in higher rent districts where you will commonly find other high end supermarkets and retailers.  Plus, the pizza and bright lights are like crack to three year olds.
