There was one report of a quote (by a European, I think) that all the $T’s that the SecTreas and HedFed were throwing at the financial system was really just a short term palliative, and wait till the effects of the drugs wear off.
When well into the crisis, I saw BRK actually go up when all around declined 25%, so I bought. Now down 40% (I even sold a Calif muni bond fund to get it). Hey, the regional banks are not going to be effected; they have already taken their haircut; today, down 2/3. Surely corporate junk bonds have already been clobbered, and they sport unreal yields, so I ordered some; don’t ask.
Nurse, if I promise not to make another fuss for the rest of the day, may I have 100mg?
