This post is a reference post that must be read by any new reader of our blogs so they can know the lay of the land as well as getting links to most of our previous blogs in one. It is work in progress and we will update it when we see fit. The following you will read was the outcome of three months of blogging in Caps where we had our challenges in communicating over the web. We addressed each challenge when it surfaced with a solution so we can preserve our community and improve it at the same time. New ideas and inputs to improve the following structure are welcome.
Let me first introduce you to “GoodVibe Community”. We consider ourselves to be a unique and open community within Caps. We are a community not a single person. Although the community took my ID on Caps to identify itself, now we think of it as a meaning that revolves around the community not my persona. I hope you will always think of it this way because it is. One day, I’ll move on as it’s the natural course of things, but I hope the idea and the community will stay for as long as nature wanted it to stay. It will always be here in Caps and nowhere else and the membership is always free. We spontaneously started this community together to survive and thrive. We aim to build, add, teach, learn, and make a positive change in the lives of our fellow members. Each one of us proud themselves to be a teacher a much as a student starting with me. No one of us claims to have all the answers but we hope collectively to reach the best answer that serve us well. We know the outcome that results from our efforts will always come to teacher and to pupil alike. We give but to ourselves. A lesson truly taught can lead to nothing but release for teacher and pupil, who have shared in one intent .
First, we will ask you kindly to abide by the following guidelines when you post in any of our blogs. These guidelines came from experience and they are collectively the outcome of our decisions. Thanks for understanding!
Community guidelines:
1. If you decided to be a self-directed investor/Trader, you must refrain from asking us for a personalized strategy or plan, specific stock advice or a chart, or how or when to make decisions. We are here to show you the way not to walk the way for you. If you can’t devote the time and energy, hire a personal investment advisor to do this for you. Trading and self-directed investing is not for everyone. In either case, start learning, do your homework; and consult with your investing advisor before making any decisions. All the work we present here is for educational reasons and should not be constituted as advice to buy or sell anything. We only share what, when and how we’re doing with hopes that sharing the process adds to you. Please, never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
2. I am a day, swing, and position trader by profession. Read my trading rules. I use Technical analysis to time my trades. Long-term investors can use most of the tools I use but will not get all the benefits as short-term investors and traders. Buy and hold forever investors will gain almost nothing from this blog but the casual chat and entertainment.
3. Believe but question. Listen but speak. Trust but verify. We offer what worked for us but no one here can guarantee it will work for you the same way or at all. Test before you jump. And never follow anyone unless you know what you are doing.
4. Everyone is welcome! Diversity strengthens our community and adds more value to our thinking and decisions. If you believe you have something of value to share, please join us!
5. The level of our tolerance to those who disagree with us will prove the level of our convictions. Everyone is entitled to believe and express their opinions in any form or shape including here even if they're not justified. Never respond to unfounded, irrational or unjust comments. Never ever defend me, the community we're building, or the work we do. It’s futile. Add, build, make a positive difference, or keep your peace. If you must express a grievance, please directly address whoever offended you in their blog not here. Keep this blog a place for positive and productive communication. My only hope that those who disagree with us treat us in the same way we treat them.
6. Recs, comments, and new groupies in our community are our guide to know if we’re doing a good job and adding some value to you. That said; please don't rec., comment, or join unless you were getting some value from our blogs. This is not a beauty contest. Let us move on to put our energy somewhere else where we believe it's needed. Until then, Recs. are good for your karma. Comments, questions, or contributions; however, are obligations.
7. Everyone is encouraged to answer questions and provide links to questions that we may have answered in the past or they feel the confidence and knowledge to do so on their own. Please step in and either copy and paste that answer or put it in your own words. Just make sure before you comment to always explain your reasons and rationale, and provide supporting data when possible. Emotional comments and opinions are not welcomed.
8. If we missed your question, please ask again. We’ll try to answer as many questions as we can but don’t expect an immediate response. Come back later for the answer in the same blog you posted. If you would like to email me personally, this is the place (goodvibe07 -at- yahoo) but a comment here will do the same.
9. Thanks for your thankful comments. I read them all and they cheer my heart but I'll not reply to them to save some time. That said, keep them coming! They keep me going like the Energizer bunny keep going and going and going. Never say die! :)
Stay positive. Winning begins within.

GoodVibe Community's oath

"On my honor, I will never betray my integrity, my character, or the public trust. I will always have the courage to hold myself and others accountable for our actions. I will always uphold my community, and the people I serve."
Second, when my posts got so crowded with many comments, questions, and general discussions; we decided to split them into different groups where I invited and asked other members to generously share with me the responsibilities of opening a blog from their Caps’ ID that address a certain topic. Along the way, I hope we will get new members to take on all or part of these responsibilities when we see fit. Also we will add new topics that address our future needs. For the time being here is the current structure:
1. GoodVibe Market Vibes – “XYZ blog name”
This blog will be my first responsibility. This was my original plan when I came here to Caps. I’ll post a new one weekly every Monday night unless there’s no need for a new one. Keep the last one on your radar until a new one is open. It will address market movement where I will chart the market and provide my current plan and strategy. I’ll update my charts only when needed in the comment section. I’ll follow this blog attentively on an hourly basis. In this blog comments are restricted to only general market conditions including your market analysis, market charts, plans, and questions. Nothing else should be added such as stocks you trade, individual stock charts, general TA discussions or learning, links to other blogs, personal issues, general discussions, entertainment, social chat, and the like. I love all that but some people found it hard to go through all that to get to what they want. Also, the huge numbers of comments and questions made it hard for me to keep up with the blog without consuming every free minute in my day.
I want you to think of this type of blog as a professional place that only you can post on to teach or ask a question regarding market direction only. Nothing else! Think before your post and when you post make sure to be concise while comprehensive. We will be following this blog carefully to see what we think so we can take important decisions. We want this blog to be easily accessible and quickly readable. If you believe that you have something of value including questions to add to those who want to know the next market direction, please post here. Otherwise, use other blogs below. This restriction is in the best interest of all. We made it possible to have other places that cover all grounds so no exceptions will be allowed.

2. GoodVibe Classroom – “XYZ blog name”
This blog is my second responsibility. This was the outcome of simple question from a friend I met here in Caps. This class will address only Technical analysis. The thing I know that I know a lot -but not everything- about. I’ll post as many blogs as I could under this category with no weekly restrictions. When I feel that I covered the grounds of a topic, I’ll move on to the next. In this blog, comments and questions should be limited to the topic of the class only. No social comments or market direction’s question, etc.
You have to be actively engaged in this blog where you must read all the comments as you set in a class where you have to listen to all the talking. You may get something of value added to your thinking by reading. If you have a question no matter simple or complicated and can’t get a satisfactory answer to, never shy away but step in and ask. First, I would like you to be an active learner. Before you ask, try to Google your question, check Wikipedia or any other financial website, or read a book or an article that can help answer your question. Don’t expect us to answer all your questions without you first taking an active role. When you do this, the value of your learning will multiply and the information you will get will stay longer in your head beside you will get exposed to many new ideas, questions, and more learning. If you do this and still can’t get an answer, then come and ask and we will have an answer for you or will direct you to a good place to fulfill this purpose.

3. GoodVibe FAQ – “XYZ blog name”
This blog is my third responsibility and you can think of it as an extension to the GoodVibe Class. This type of blogs will address a question or a group of related questions that frequently get asked in my blog. I’ll have this type of blogs written everytime I have some extra time to spare to put these questions to rest once and for all where they can be reference for those who ask them in the future. I’ll get to decide which topic to address first from your questions. So, the more you ask, the more you will decide the topic I should address in this blog. Comment and questions on this type of blogs should also be limited to the topic of the blog.
