What's with the advertisement crap?
And so it is written, he who has the Top Fool makes the post. Does not matter to me, Everyday, has been a great asset to Fool over all and if he wants to promote XXXX or whatever, all you have to do is outperform him and you can post as you like.
Argghhhhh ... okay, if you didn't get it I guess others didn't either. It was not an advertisement. I changed the message to be clearer. Here is the full url link: http://welcometothegutter.blogspot.com/2009/04/fibonacci-versus-krieger-acci.html

STOP TRYING TO SELL ME STUFF!
I'm with Abitare on this one. In short my opinion of Everyday -->.hear, hear!" It is an abbreviation for "hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!"
+1 abitare
Freund, You didn't read the link did you.
All the article he linked, which is selling nothing, does is argue against advanced TA.
I have no idea why you'd think suspect he was a shill (other maybe subpar phrasing), after all he's done on CAPS you would think he would get the benefit of the doubt.
see? this is a perfect example of a blog post that would probably have about 50 negative recs (and rightfully so) for a pointless post that does nothing but attempt to stir up drama.
No, I didn't read the link. "For a short time only" turned me off it bigtime. DD, this post would not have 50 negative recs, nor would it be "rightfully so;" I'm simply sick of everyone trying to sell me stuff.
If that's not what EDI is doing, then my apologies, but I recall an earlier post where he was selling the spot for $50 per day... Just connecting the dots and hoping these boards don't turn into one huge advertisement.
Tasty - He's posted that he's willing to sell that spot for $50 per day, so that made me skeptical. I also know he deals with Tim Sykes, whom I have no qualms with, but I don't necessarily agree with some of the stuff he does. I've read many of Michael Goode's (EDI) articles, and think very highly of him for the most part. I was just really turned off by the way he worded the top message, which I think he realized was shill-like.
He's too lazy to click the link, but yet he finds energy to make a pointless, incorrect blog post. The lack of intelligence saddens me!
@ FreudInvesting - the way he worded the message before changing it was to make it sarcastic and funny, which I personally appreciated.
Lack of intelligence? For not being able to detect sarcasm in writing? For not wanting to click on something that says "for a limited time only?"
And FYI, I was hoping EDI would clarify his position, and that he wasn't a shill... and that's exactly what happened.
Lack of intelligence... hah! Maybe lazy, but definitely not lacking intelligence :)
Freund
Alright I can see why you felt that way. I didn't interpret his actions that way but I could see how you could now that you've explained it. And I can understand your aversion to additional advertising.
But that being said for you to accuse him of being a shill without even verifying your suspicions (which would only take less than a minute) is pretty irresponsible in my mind.
That's why you would have negative recs on this in DemonDoug's scenario.
You didn't do your DD before making a fairly serious/controversial accusation.
I wasn't accusing, I was asking. But I agree, I could have written it differently! :)
Just read the blog, my apologies EDI. Definitely insightful, as always. If only CAPS let me delete posts...
Oh, and in case you didn't catch the Tim Sykes connection that has made me slightly wary....

Freund: take a look at my first post about Tim Sykes: http://www.goodevalue.com/2008/03/26/timothy-sykes-is-full-of-bullship/
I was not a fan at the beginning. BTW, I have made $729.26 trading stocks using his system this year (in addition to about $46,000 last year).
No I know, Michael, that you actually made money. But I'm just saying that's why I immediately painted you with the "shill" brush, which I shouldn't have done without verifying. Again, my apologies!
