Lan Airlines is Invading my E-mail

So I got some travelocity spam in my hotmail account this morning, which by itself isn't suprising. What is suprising is that it wasn't travel "deals" for one of the US cities I've flown to on previous occasions through travelocity. Instead it was basically an advertisement for Chile and Lan Airlines (LFL), which is a company I've at times owned shares in and have liked as a good long term investment opportunity since 2005.
Headline of internal e-mail spam below:
LAN Airlines: The Best Way to Reach South America
It then followed to list cities Lan flies to and fro in the US/Canada and why their airlines and Chile in general are so great. I'd never heard of Lan until I started investing back in 2005 and even then it was only because I was actively researching Chilean companies to invest in. I think the fact that they are now partnering with american companies for advertising exposure (even if it is via hated spam) is a good sign for them in the long run.
I guess it's just kinda weird/cool to get e-mails about relatively unknown companies I like to invest in via e-mail that isn't from some kind of financial service company.
I've had a green thumb on LFL for a while, but don't currently own shares... but that's more due to a lack of money and not because I don't like the company.
