Hey, take it easy on the all-time most recommended blogger...

He digs up some good stories from time to time that I would not otherwise have been able to find.  Take the good with the bad.

Al - while I don't always agree with you, I do appreciate the efforts to keep us sheeple informed.  It is our choice how we choose to spend our time reading blogs...  Sheeesh.  You're like Bob Ueker, - no respect!

Alstry,

You have brought a smile to my face more consistently than any blogger on TMF.  I enjoy, and follow, many bloggers on this site and find many of them enlightening, educating and thought provoking.  But you, my friend, are a master of wordcraft.  And I have a very high regard for the correlations you draw and your creative way of presenting them.  Thanks.

JFC,

Thanks.

It sometimes gets taxing telling the truth in a world of BS....

We are at the point where 86% of college grads can't find a job.

Our largest state can't pay its bills and issuing IOUs.

Middle Class hardworking families are homeless and hungry.

Unemployment is 20% and growing.

Few are hiring.

Revenues of the S&P 500 is evaporating despite massive government spending.

Tax receipts are vanishing.

Deficits are exploding.

Commercial Real Estate is crashing.

Basically our nation is shutting down and the Zombulation policies are not helping any........sometimes you have to make  light of it, other times it's frustrating, and once in a while you just throw your arms up in the air as it seems few really care.

I just got off the phone with a good friend of mine....he is a substantial player in Real Estate...VERY SUBSTANTIAL PLAYER.....he said more and more deals are crossing his desk that are delinquent on property taxes........once you get to that point, you only get vulture offers, and even the vultures are now backing off because there are no tenants.

Few really know what to do......myself included.....but one thing for sure, the world as we know it is about to change, and I remain optimistic that the change will be for the better.

I want a post from Alstry explaining this. I didn't know 'optimistic' was in his vocabulary.

ocsurf, it's simple.  Ya gotta hit bottom before you can rise up better than you were before the decline.  Alstry made that clear a number of times although he doesn't talk about his far far far out view much.

oc,

Think of it as a massive renovation of a house.

You must tear it down before rebuilding it.

Right now, we are just beginning the tearing down process.....we still have a long long way to go.

Current Zombulation policies will only make it LONGER.

This is very sad news. Almost as sad as the fact that the public education (k-12, you know the free one) is a HUGE joke. Also, not very many people go to college. Which is sad.

Alstry, can you post what kind of qualifications you have? Or.. I guess the qualifications that the person writing your words has.. (you know alstry is 3rd person so idk how to take it lol)

I am totally new to  CAPS but already find fun and just maybe some advice in Al; even if his figures are exaggerated at times, the basic drift gets across and seems supported by all the tech and graph wizards here. The puzzle is; the "end" in 9; just a new paradigm for American capitalizm, crash of the market , both or what else ? Nice mystery. Putting Alstry side by side with GoodVibes4ever is a great read if you tend to be bi-polar.Keep it up !

Alstry's creator has a law degree, he has been a litigator, been the Chief Investment Officer of a transportioin company, owned restaurants and other businesses.....graduated college with an economics and political science emphsis only because it was an easy way to get decent grades and party at the same time.

Hangs around with a group of friends with substantial business experience including ex CEO's of public companies, CFOs, Presidents, etc.........

I created Alstry and Alstrynomics to warn those of the serious consequences of the Zombulator and Zombatic Fallout which causes the FU Virus.

Economics is not prepared nor competent to deal with these unprecedented times............hence, Alstrynomics was necessary.

I this you being funny or just funny names for things you are calling out?

Not gonna lie... It is pretty cool that you have "a group of friends with substantial business experience including ex CEO's of public companies, CFOs, Presidents, etc........."

Someday I want to work my way up the "corporate ladder" and make a name for myself or just make my own firm.

Exactly how is Alstrynomics more competent and prepared to deal with these unprecedented times?  There isn't anything anyone can do at this point.  Preparation in dealing with these times needed to start years ago.

Al,

I am CPA by trade that practices IT Audit.  I live in Northern Colorado and have learned a lot about Metro Disrict law and Association law because of some things going on in our community.  I, too, believe strongly in the rule of law.  However, what I have learned, first hand, is that sometimes the law is stacked against you because of special interest groups.  I can only imagine how screwed up our federal law is given the skewed nature of Colorado state law.

Heaven help us with some of the jokers we have in Congress that can be 'bought' easisly by special interests.  With the lack of moral compass of our country, I can only imagine what seeds are being sowed and what the mess our children will inheret.

I love this country, but fear for the next 40 years and my life and the life my kids face in the future.

Fear is not the correct emotion.

At one point, I was very sick in my life.....fearing death would not have helped.

You must focus you energy to find a solution.....it gets frustrating at times....but it is the only appropriate choice.

And the problem we are dealing with here is massive, as you can tell from my two most recent blogs.

You being a CPA gives you insight and perspective that few Fools have....it is why many of them are still drinking the kool aid.

At this point, whatever the solution it will be a political one, because from an accounting and legal standpoint, the system is insolvent and credit is running out.....you know, the Alstyrnomic definition of Zombulation.

It is simply a change, now the question is what and how to make it as painless as possible.

Is it possible that different approaches may be appropriate for different areas?  I don't see how a blanket solution could work for the whole country.  In other words, If imposing restrictive laws against freedom of speech, assembly, etc., they're gonna react to it differently in LA, NYC, Up-state, Tennessee (some crazy folks), Nebraska, Northern Cali, ETC.  With as many demographics as there are, and the area they take up, in order to instill any actual changes there will need to be a change in perception, or some perceived threat.  Something will need to unify them, like the reichstag fire unified Germany during their their great depression, or 911 unified America to spend incredible amounts of resources to pre-emptively strike a country that posed absolutely no threat to us.  Oh, I remember, it was wmos, but seriously folks, do you think we all didn't suspect that they had some wmos the whole time anyway?  (we never 'found' the wmos because if we found them, we would have to put ourselves and our allies in the clink for selling them and producing them in Iraq)

I'm straying.  there can be no change without some incident that causes it.  It won't be,"Hey, were, uh, broke, so uh, give us all your rights and don't give us a hard time, come on, we've had a rough couple of years, we're feeling ragged as hell, and the strings that are holding us together are severely frayed.  We owe money everywhere, and although most of you did not benefit, you all have to pay.  In fact the least you benefited, the more we want you to pay the consequences."

Will it happen on 90909?  If one of Alstry's illustrious buds told him, maybe so.
