Fixed! Embedded Blog Links and Ending Picks Just a Little Finer...

I'm happy to report that we fixed the bug that we introduced two weeks ago that prevented embedding some links within blog posts.  Again, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience this caused and for the delay in delivering the fix.

I'll celebrate by promoting Anticitrade's excellent post today on his Liquidation Value Screen, developed in conjunction with the CAPS Community.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!

The number one feature request from our members, has been to make it possible to End Picks Directly from your My CAPS page.  No, we didn't build a fancy web-mail like mass end pick feature, but we do make it one click easy to end a pick from your My CAPS page, which will support the ability to close multiple picks in a fraction of the time that it would take to close directly from the ticker page.

Here's how the new process works.

Step 1:  Peruse your Scorecard for the Picks that you want to close

Step 2: Click The End Button on the Pick(s) You Want To Close

(No, we're not taking you to the ticker page.  Look, we put your pick into pending close right on your scorecard.)  Happy Ending!!

Fool On!

This new release is awesome.  It really makes up for the 3-4 bugs introduced in the last release (quote marks didn't work in post replies, player ratings didn't work in pitch replies, embedded links didn't work in posts, and I think there was one other one).

Easy pick ending also makes CAPS more convenient to mess around with at work :)

Next fix urgently needed - Expand pitch replies on the main page, don't make us navigate to another page.  I believe TMF did away with this a couple of months ago and it is a huge negative.  Pitch replies don't get nearly enough visibility and it disincentivizes people to even bother making comments.

Just logged on to say that the "end a pick" with one click works great. Better than the mass email idea. Nicely done.
