Maybe it's because I don't have cable, but I don't watch much financial TV. So it's always a bit jarring when I come across Jim Cramer's show on the Internets. On the one hand, I don't see how anyone can take this guy seriously. On the other hand, it's more interesting than watching another suit being interviewed by another suit. I love the sound effects. And Cramer certainly has some brain power -- he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, says Wikipedia -- though that's not the same as thing as predictive power. 

Fascinating. 

Side note: I love when people in the media complain about the media. It's like a politician railing against "special interests" at a $1,000-a-plate fundraiser.

We are in the same boat. I have no cable, local, or any other channel, but when I go to lunch, somtimes I see this guy and he makes me laugh. I wouldn't know how to digest all the BS that is on the show though, so I am not interested in his picks I guess.

I would prefer Cramer in a suit like eveybody else. All this screaming, jestures and sound effects make my head hurt in the short 30 seconds that pass until I find the remote to turn it off.

cramer is wall streeets lap dog.he pushes his friends on wall streets stocks so they run up and they can make quick profits at viewers expense.last summer he was pushing toll bothers as real estate was crashing .then it turns out he just bought a house from them and needed to pay fo it....
