In 1999 Fiber, Internet, PC's tech were new and fresh idea that allowed garbage stock to have multiples higher than ANY possible growth rate. The promise was a brave new world.

What in the heck was the catalyst for this junk stock rally? Government money was better than consumer spending? It may have been necessary but not better  It is like Liar's poker -and judging how some junk stocks have tanked from early August after ramping from March- you may lose your chips

See CHUX $7 in March to $11-12 Aug 5  to $7.50 today. Should be .70 cents. All in my humble opinion.....J

What doesn't stop to amaze me how fast people forget. Just a year ago we were at the brink of the fiancial collapse. Now the risk taking is back 100%. It is clear , people cannot control their greed. They will take as much risk as they can until they go bust. There is no fear in the market.

How can we really believe that another bubble is not going to happen, when we are already chasing an irrational bubble in bankrupt companies just a year after the financial crisis? We need to put Glass-Steagall back and make it an amendment to the constitution so that it is not repealed ever again.

And notice, nobody in the FED, Treasury of SEC saying anything because this is playing in their court. It is only wrong when irrational gambling is happening on the short side, on the long side is quite alright.

russiangambit  EXACTLY.  Where is anybody hedging their longs? Greed is in fact not good and yes memories are short. YES===>We need to put Glass-Steagall back and make it an amendment to the constitution so that it is not repealed ever again.

Then watch as the media acts suprised after a correction. If the trend is your friend good but be able to take something off the table. My nickle...J
