would happen some time this fall.  We've gotten a half inch of rain already and we're forecast to get at least another inch before we're all said and done.

That you would learn the only way to sell cars at any respectable rate was the government to assist many unqualified buyers with the down payment.  Now that we are in September, you will observe sales rate evaporate, despite end of model year incentives just as Alstry predicted.

I forecasted you would know that as this Ponzi scheme is revealed America....you would undertand America is shutting down, and there is nothing we can do about unless we restructure.....

Inspector layoffs may mean near ‘shutdown’ of imports

PUKALANI - Plant quarantine officials said last week that laying off more than half the state's agricultural inspectors would create such a logjam at Hawaii ports that it could cause shortages similar to those seen during shipping strikes.

Carol Okada, manager of the Hawaii Department of Agriculture's Plant Quarantine Branch, said she has not been able to develop a plan for how her department will continue its core functions after it loses 52 employees, 50 of them inspectors, to layoffs planned for November.

She said food shipments to Maui and the other Neighbor Islands, which because of staff shortages would now have to be routed through Honolulu for inspection, would have to sit on the docks until the state's remaining inspectors could look at them, with the risk that some food could spoil in the unchilled containers.

But she said the staffing cuts were so unprecedented that she had no way of predicting how long the delays would be.

"There's such a reliance on imports," she said Thursday. "When this is impacted, it's just like having a dock strike, but in Hawaii. It's a shutdown."

When your government runs up a lot of debt....you are legally responsible for that debt as a citizen of the nation.  You are not an attorney so I can't expect you to understand the conept of joint liablility.

But you will feel the effects.... as we are now on the eve of 9.09 you will understand we are on the brink of the biggest depression in history...simply because our economy was one big ponzi scheme.

Then you will ask....how could Alstrydomous know...9.09.

But I have to admit, never in my wildest dreams did I think the market could rally like this entering into 9.09 with the facts so obvious.

Health Care Crashing...especially after Obama can't spend

Municipalities Crashing

County Tax Receipts Crashing

State Tax Recepts Crashing

Maybe that helps explain why bankruptcies are increasing parabolically...and we don't count independent contractors and small business people as unemployed?

And all of the above BEFORE 9.09

Yes....at this point, as you can tell from the Alstrybators...the implications of the current situation has not sunk into the collective conscience yet....

when it does...the reaction could be significant....VERY SIGNIFICANT.

The issue we are contemplating is much more important than health care...and look at the reactions in August. 

How do you think we Americans are going to react after learning that we as a nation are broke?

Alstry views the current crisis as potentially the single biggest issue facing America in its history.

The fact that the population is seemingly so indifferent is absolutely amazing.  You talk the bank owners, business owners or major commercial real estate players and they see the world very differently than what is portrayed in the media.

The average person on the streets can't see or feel it yet....until government has to make a choice between take everything we have and keep on spending or make dramatic changes.....on that day the nation will realize what has happened and the reaction could be severe...

simply judging on the anger being displayed by discussing health care reform.

If you think health care reform is a big issue....imagine the impact of entire nation economy reform?

Yes, everything is crashing...except for one thing.  Tree Lots.  As simply an anecdotal tid bit, I received a letter today from one of my neighbors.  This has never happened in the 7 years I have owned this property.  In order to get my name, he had to go through County Tax Records to find my name and address, which he did.  His request was if I would allow him on the property to chop dead firewood, large bundles of which I have stored at the entrance to the property for just such an occasion.

My answer will be, of course, to have at it, as I have waited for this moment for quite some time, knowing that someone in the neighborhood won't have the money to buy Oil this winter....so I prepared, for someone else's needs.  It is a fascinating 'idea' that I employ, this thinking of the needs of others, and not solely about myself.  But, it does seem to work.

I call it The Mother Of All Prosperity.
