Actually AA cutting 921 FA's. If there are no flight attendants that would be 99% bad for safety and 1% good for getting your won soda free. Just saying.

 Also wasn't Sprint supposed to buy VIrgin Mobile for $5.50 a share? Why the falling share price?

I'm glad the stewardesses got fired.  AA has some dirt-poor service, so I don't see any reason to pay people to provide it.  As far as I'm concerned, the service I get on the subway is as good as what I get on AA.

The last time I was on AA, I opened the tray table, and it was filthy with food smeared all over it.  I told a male stewardess about it, and he gave me some dry napkins to cover it up.  I told him I didn't want napkins I wanted it cleaned, and he said they didn't have anything to clean it with on the plane.

Also, the idea that the stewardess is important to safety is pretty far-fetched.  It might help to have them on there in a situation like your plane lands in the Hudson, but most of the time they are just an eyesore.

To be honest yeah I agree but I still feel sorry for the unintentionally incompetent. AA imho always but now more than ever is a now a a bargain airline pretending and charging like a big player. IMHO the worst airline is JETBLUE. None of the people who work there look happy and their terminal looks like a giant commercial for them.
