Because the press-on forklift tires are made of non-marking polyurethane – a quality widely desired they offer a significant advantage over competitors’ non-marking tires constructed of rubber, which are usually priced higher than the material handling industry’s traditional rubber tires, according to Michael Kapral, Amerityre’s president .
Another advantage is the new tires come with a “full size” option not offered by other tire producers, he notes.
“In our tests, these tires have proven to last longer than rubber forklift tires, are non-marking and are manufactured utilizing environmentally friendly chemicals with minimum energy consumption,” reports JR Kines, K-2’s president.
“This technology makes the tires unique in the industry,” he continues. “With Amerityre ramping up production of the different forklift tire sizes, we expect to meet the considerable demand for these tires nationally and internationally. High quality American-made tires like these can provide assured and rapid order delivery.”
