What is the best way to buy bullion. I do not want to be cheated on either quality or price.

I prefer pamp suisse over other brands. Anyway I want to make a 20 grand order on palladium.

Has anyone gone through this procedure before? Thanks for your help.

You don't want international shipping for any decent amount Kaskoosek. You are better off finding a place to store it internationally.

I'm assuming that you live in the US, and if you do, any international purchase of precious metals raises red flags. If you don't declare it, you are breaking the law and if you do, you are almost certain to have the IRS take a peek at your file.

When the stuff hits the fan, the US government will first look to see if you have a safe deposit box so they can take it away from you, and if not they will be knocking on your door looking for it.

kas,

I have excellent experience with apmex.com and kitco.com. APMex.com is more friendly. However, kitco.com is Canada-based and IRS wouldn't see your shipments (from Canada to Mid-East).

But I live in Switzerland, while you seem to live in Beirut/ Lebanon. Hey, I grew up at the Makdissi Street...!

OK, to your question... can't you buy precious metals in your country? Hey, this is Lebanon where the rich people from the gulf states are usually buying some jewelry.

Also, make sure that you don't have to pay import taxes. And watch out for more tricks...
