This is becoming a very good CAPS account!  AllStarPorfolio offers authentic stock research and ideas with varying ideas.  Definately in my favorites list, and I have hijacked a few picks.

Thanks and Keep Up the Good Work AllStars!!

my pitch for RJET:  link   (one of our best looking pitches yet)

We are maintaining an above average ranking (2nd place) on WallStreetSurvivor . With 14.5% profit in less than 3 1/2 months. That would, if continued, take us to 40% a year. Sounds impossible.

On that tracking account, we currently only have 4 out of 29 picks in the red, partially thanks to a few limit buys and stalls of mine ;-) and i think those 4 are safe.

```````````````````
 We currently have 205 groupies, making us the 74th most popular account on CAPS, and 837 total recs,placing us at 49th! WOW!
Average points near 10, and accuracy of 70% have the potential to put us on those boards also.
SO, WHAT'S THIS ABOUT NEW RULES? I've been thinking, with plenty of help from y'all, that if we open up the rules a little we could get some more GOOD players. Here are some of my/our ideas.
All Players would still have to meet the 6 month old CAPS account minimum
Top Outperform players. Similar to yes man charm, i would suggest a 97 rating for fools on the outperform list. It comes to 500 accounts, many of which are second accounts from our players, or skeletons that won't really play for AllStarPortfolio, etc. We might get just a few players. Maybe 10? If we're lucky?
Highest Outperform Returns. Perhaps with a minimum of 50 picks? This would add about 80 potential players, with about 30 more in striking range. Again, there would be a lot of overlap, etc.
Best Returns charm. This charm is only given to the top 10% fools, of course. Again, a minimum of 50 picks. This would add about 300 potential names, but a few real good players with a 97 or so would have a shot.
OR PERHAPS scrap all those details, and allow any player who has 50 picks, 6 months, a Yes Man charm, and a Best Returns charm. . . ?
I'm very willing to leave it the way it is, but this might allow in some players that are worthy, but not at 99 because they don't have 200 picks. I really don't think it will bring more than a few players, but.  . . . . . . . . . .
I have been thinking about us allowing all players to pick two picks. If we did, that would still leave us with only a third of our slots filled, but i hesitate to give two slots each without first asking who else wants to play.
So let me know what you think about these ideas.
Oh, btw, JJG is it's lowest since it's inception in Nov 2007. It rose 6% today, but it's potential highs are in the sky somewhere. I recommend getting in on this. DYDD.
 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
************************  TO CHOOSE A STOCK FOR THIS PORTFOLIO READ BELOW
 One green thumb per person. Minimum Time Frame 6 months. Players are free to change the pick as often as caps permits.
   No Ultras (FAZ was picked before the discussion was finished, and will be closed soonish). No Bear ETFS. No .OB stocks
 To qualify for a pick you must:
 Have a RATING of more than 99 on the day of pick
   -OR-
 Be a "yes"man with a RATING of 97 or higher on the day of pick
   -AND-
 Have been a caps player for more than 6 months.
    -OR-
Be in the Top Ten at the time of pitch, or have at one time been the Top Fool.
All picks MUST have a pitch, and a time frame.
   To submit a pick Players should attach their pitch to a blog from this caps account. I will then copy that to the pitch on the stocks page, so that it will be visible on both the stock page and the quickstats page. I will of course place your name, and score at time of pick on the pitch.
You can name your stock here, for dibs (will hold for 7 days), but i will not post the stock until you have made your pitch, and picked a time frame, also.
I am willing to share the password with a few someones, if they would like, to facilitate timing.
There has already been some interest shown in making an 'Investment Vehicle' to work with this portfolio. We have opened a google group to discuss the possibility. To keep static to a minimum we have created it as a private group discussion. To be invited to the discussion, please send your screen name to allstarportfolio@gmail.com and ask for an invitation. Thanks.
Great results Allstar. Congrats.
p.s. Based on this chart, it looks like our portfolio's were created around the same time. If you need a tech guy in your group: I'm available... :)
DLZ, as i said in the title of this post. . . . GET IN HERE. Your BEST pick, best pitch. It's all in the rules above.
Technically you would need a 99+rating on the day of pick (at least until we 'ok' the new rules), and a GOOD pitch with time frame. but i think you could pull that off rather easily.
You can post your pitch on any of our blogs, and i will pick it up. A guy like you (who brags about being a techi) should be able to write a GOOD pitch.
PS, I think you are really good at this. I have been watching.
Solaris, do you mean something like this: LVS. There is a price target, time frame, and everything.
We just need to hurry, you know, I'm not gonna have a "hot hand" forever... :)
I support allowing 2 picks per account. I follow the account and feel you've generated allot of very good ideas. If things become too crowded you could ease down to 1 pick per account as required or simply have everyone close one of their 2 picks immediately.
The more ideas the merrier ;-) !!!
I thought I posted this already, but any chance that the current All-Stars could get 2 or 3 picks?
I don't want to close my current pick yet, but have a couple of other good ideas.
DLZ, i hate your pick, lol, but then i hate over half of them at first, and obviously you fools are better at this then me.
Hate your pitch too, lol. But your the Boss. There is just one thing...
Cut and paste it here, so your name is on record. Post it today if you want, and i will accept your current rating, since it's a 'hot hand'.
And be ready to close it. It will bomb. Still, you might get 100 points before it does.
Read the rules, we are looking for long term picks  . . .  but if you will play, then i will admin.
Solaris, sorry but I didn't understand. My LVS post was just me showing off :), not my actual pick for allstars portfolio. I thought I had to be somehow approved first, before you would accept me as a part of allstars.
Soon, I'll come up with a "better" pick and a better pitch too :).
Thanks and Good Luck everybody...
DLZ. Yes sir. I love showing off, and i like watching others show off. It's like watching dancers, even though i'm not good, i enjoy it.
Now if you ever need someone to lay out the flow of a crew, or a workstation, boy can i make money like that. I can usually double a crews output, just by rearrainging the flow.
Feel free to open and close picks as often as CAPS permits, but don't risk our 'money'.
Have you seen this? WallStreetSurvivor
