I won't mention it but please Motley Fool no more stories about it.

As an independant I implore you not to bother all it will do is make liberals and conservatives fight even

more and I am convinced many of us are so lost in our bias that it is pointless.

Both extremes piss me off for different reasons.

You can't feed ignorance and bias it is better to ignore it.

We all have differing opinions and many of us are very passionate with our viewpoints.

This is an investing website and  these stories which will remain nameless only cause bickering and teach us nothing.

Print not lest you waste more ink and space I implore you but educate and amuse us instead.

This subject should be left to be discussed elsewhere in my humble opinion it is for the best.

Please Rec this Motley Fools ask not what we can do for each other but what Motley Fool can do for us.

You do way more harm trying to "shut people up" on politics than you do participating in it.

I try to poke fun and amuse myself when I write about politics and I don't care who I so happen to offend with my conservative ideology.  All I know is with 10% unemployment.....There's plenty of proof to go around that conservatism is still the best ideology.

So there...

Oh and Wake me up with the *Hired* Motley Fool Article Posters stop putting up "Obama Kiss Up" articles all the time... Just last week we had to deal with a Kiss Up article about telling people to fill out letters and make phone calls demanding for more Regulations on Banks.. or to Join With Obama and the Democrats to Regulate everything under the Sun.

You pin the Political Blame on us Bloggers when in fact Motley Fool's Own David and Tom Gardner got severely political last year e-mailing every Motely Fool Subscriber to join with them in demanding that the Federal Government starting Buying Banks by buying Shares of Stock so Taxpayers have to foot the bill should any of these Banks go Under....

David + Tom Gardner   Super Political???  Then I guess VARCHILD2008 is certainly entitled to be political.

And I am.... and no amount of whining about the existence of politics is going to make anyone suddenly decide to stop being political... Not when United States of America is on the Symphony of Destruction right now.

Friggin' liberal pansy - afraid of a fight - what else is new?

"Oh! No! I'm not a liberal OR a conservative, I'm a 'INDEPENDANT!' doesn't that make just the most precious, little psuedo-ntellectual, milk-toast, douche-bag you've ever seen?!?!"

Spare me.

P.S.  I did REC you so don't misunderstand my passion.

I REC pretty much anyone that disagrees with me....whether politically or Red Thumbs a stock I own.  I do it for a reason cause I want people to *welcome* opposing viewpoints in politics as well as in their own portfolios.

Ultimately, you don't want to be the last guy standing around with shares of Blockbuster on the day they completely go under if that is to be their fate.  You want to be the Guy that actually paid some attention to people telling you to SELL your shares off of BBI and buy NETFLIX instead.... So that you can make real money on a real growth story.

That's the importance of mixing Politics here....  Learning to *READ* and *LISTEN* to opposing views makes us smarter investors.

Hey Qwerty (what's that mean?), i'm not a liberal, or a conservative, OR an 'independant', and i LOVE to fight.

Tell you what, champ. Let's start a one hundred mile hike across the mountains. Then when we get back a 5:00 am start with no breakfast, and a 14 hour workday loading 100,000 pounds of apples. Then how about a 7 mile run, for fun, and to make a point of how tough we are, and then cruising for girls till we close the clubs at 3:00 am.

 THEN WE'LL FIGHT.

Then we'll compare girlfriends. Mine is 6' tall with blond dreadlocks and baby blue eyes. She reminds of Uma Thurman, and carries an 8'' bowie knife strapped to her thigh.

THEN WE'LL FIGHT AGAIN. NAKED.

Why you gotta go name callin'? Guys with real masculinity don't ever do that. Look around.

I love to fight. Sheesh. I wanna get a plane ticket now, just to fight. I wanna fight so bad. . . i wanna quit my job, and come over there where you are, so we can pal around like real men,. .

AND THEN WE'LL FIGHT AGAIN. NAKED IN THE SNOW.

I love to fight, and i love pansies, too. Because that leaves more girls for me to hang out with. I like conservatives too, because that leaves more girls for me to hang out with.

Just jokin. I'm actually just a very funny guy.

much love and good luck.

Call me the Woody Allen of the thread, but what are we not supposed to be fighting about? I thought I knew, until I looked at the tags.

BTW, I'll fight anybody in this room except Solaris. he likes to fight naked and there is nothing scarier on the planet than a lilly white farmer spinning his mini me around singing "bum chicka wow-wow!"

I looked at the stock tickers and I'm still mystified what this blog is about. Ozzfan is clever enough to know that curiosity is a trait most investors have in common. Perhaps he needs something interesting to talk about today. The weather here is quite dreary where I am so I'd rather discuss other more enjoyable topics. Life is full of mysteries. I have never understood exactly why sometimes when (boys or men) fight they are better friends afterwards. Right now I would guess that Solaris has friendship feelings for Ozzfan. Sometimes talking about fighting seems to be psychologically as bonding as a group hug. People are so interesting. (I also don't understand why anyone would watch professional wrestling, but that is a whole topic in itself.) If you check my favorites page, you will find that I have listed a lot of fools who have widely divergent political beliefs, but are very likeable. You guys are wonderful. If there is one thing I cannot stand it is apathy or indifference. If I'm really concerned about the consequences of your beliefs I will probably pray about it. I have more confidence in God than I do in any form of government. There I've talked about friendship, politics, and religion. It is going to be a good day!

Also I respect all opinions but if anyone knows a poor or middle class conservative I would love to meet them..lol..I don't agree with all liberal viewpoints either this is why I registered as an independant. One law I would love to see changed is ROE V Wade however I don't think we will ever see that day.
