There should be a degree of personal repsonsibility. No degree of semantics will change my opinion on this. Even if bonuses are 1/100% of TARP symbolically, in a time with high unemployment, they should have said " No I will forego it."
Bonuses are expressly that bonuses for exemplary work..If you count on them for 75% of your income learn thrift.A salesperson who doesn't sell doesn't sell doesn't get paid no matter whose fault.
