It's Halloween so what better time to look for scary stocks to avoid? It's a long-standing tradition around Fooldom. Some of my Foolish colleagues and I have nominated some as potential frights. Hi goldminingXpert. I agree that a violent wind is going to blow in on a lot of companies. I still believe in looking for very strong ones and holding on long term, probably VERY long term, I don't believe our economic mess is anywhere near over. But yeah, the recent rally has not looked sensible or logical to me. There are a lot of ugly forces out there. But I definitely wouldn't want to be hanging on to some of these!

 

cbwang888, agreed, I am not high on TLB myself (I have written plenty of articles on Fool.com to that effect!). It was my choice last year for a Halloween scare!
