I want to thank Alstry for reminding me of a show I saw over the summer called The Colony on Discovery Channel.

The premise is that over 10 weeks/ episodes a group of people are put into situations in a post apolocalyptic world. There the engineer, the nurse, the builder... They have to decide whether to take new people in because it decreases their supplies. It is completely set up- but a fun social experiment as they have to achieve goals each week. purify water, make electricity, steal food from homeless, decide whether to kill a goat or use it for milk, fish the LA river- all while using makeshift weapons to defend their assets from mauaders on bikes who throw molotov cocktails.

Does anyone know what I am talking about. With 10% unemployment I thought it would be a fun thread.
