I am giving up on growth investing. I've been trying for a year and have done nothing but lose $$! Maybe I should have written $$$ instead. I am disappointed in my own lack of discipline because I buy and sell way too often. Usually when something is falling.

I am becoming a med. term / value investor as of now. I have EWZ, GEX and EAC with an eye towards a year turn around, and a little bit in WTER and DSCI as real long term plays.

I use the Cabot Newsletters group for information, along with Yahoo Finance and MF Caps. If you, reader, have a suggestion where I can get better (free) info. please reply to this post.

If anyone besides myself should actually happen to read this blog, best of luck to you in your efforts.

   Sincerely,

   David aka EasyAvenue

Hard lesson...  Growth stocks are the most dependent on unrealistic assumptions.  They work in a bull market and plummet to disasterous levels in a recession...

No one can make reasonable 5 year future predictions and these things price 5 years of these assumptions into them, insane...
