Sometimes the best time to release news is late Friday afternoon when no one is looking.

Today, the Food and Drug Administration condoned the intentional adulteration of food with melamine by issuing a risk assessment for the industrial chemical that was added to milk and milk-based ingredients produced in China.

And:

The nation's top environmental enforcement agency has decided against regulating perchlorate, a component of solid rocket fuel that has been found in the drinking water of millions of Americans

And:

Push polling was used with stunning effect in the 2000 Republican primary campaign in South Carolina where people claiming to be pollsters insinuated that McCain, then fighting George Bush for the party nomination, had illegitimately fathered a black child".

"They said; 'Are you Jewish?' and I said 'Yeh'. Then they said 'if you knew Barack Obama was supported by Hamas, would it change your vote? Would it change your vote if you knew his church had made antisemitic statements?'. All the hot button issues on Israel." She said she will vote for Obama as planned.

In Key West, Florida, another swing state, Joelna Marcus, 71, a retired professor, had a similar experience. She was asked if she would be influenced if she learned that Obama had donated money to the Palestine Liberation Organisation.

Marcus has since disconnected her telephone.

The Huffington Post website reported that a reader, named Rachel from Strongsville, Ohio, complained of a push poll that portrayed Obama as a radical leftwinger who had voted to let convicted child sex offenders out early and to allow them to live near schools.

And finally, some new FBI Guidelines regarding what eveidence is needed to initiate an investigation.

yes, things are not good lately.

having said that, let me say Screw Fear. i am sick and tired of being afraid. have been for some time. i've decided to grab things i don't like in my personal life by the scruff of its neck and get its' attention by shaking it.

status qou suck? i'm changing the status quo.

sorry, that just popped out. don't want to be angry, but sometimes it sneaks up on me and squirts out in public. my primary martial arts instructor called the feeling i have "rightous rage", the energizing force that allows use to defeat our adversaries in any given situation. Thank You Shihan Miller...

my investment philosophy flows from our lives. i believe that the planet is over populated, and will be more so in the near (10-20 years) future. nobody's fault, just math. what happens when ya got too many rats in the cage? murder, starvation, pollution, infantacide, disease and a whole lot of other things that we are seeing in the human population now. wow. almost Q.E.D.

my investment plan flows from my interpetation of these events.

that's why i'm a commodity bull.

a defationist.

a buyer of defense stocks and sin stocks.

more people + increased demand for declining resources (real or imagined) = war.

i still hope for a good life for my granchildren thru either a saviour technology or ( pause for a deep breathe)... mankind coming to its collective mind and DOING something about our collective situation. from my heart i hope for these things.

but short term, i think i'm right.

my CAPS score goes thru the roof when the market falls.

feel free to look and comment. i'd like to be proven wrong. i just started playing 4 months ago.
