i am glad somebody else noticed this. i was keeping pages of contrary opinions to show friends, but they got so numerous, i quit. i came to this Foolish site because i had the courage of my own convictions. if i'm wrong, it's all on me.

too little information and too much opinion is why i stopped watching financial T.V.

My crystal ball is a little fuzzy.   I still see a weak Christmas for retailers/consumer discretionary.  Still if gasoline continues to fall I could be  off base short term.    I still say there needs to be corrective shift in consumer demand-lower gas prices may delay it or make it less intense.

Nothing contrary about it when you read the news.  Same cause behind both reports - lower gas prices.
