And why Alstry was the ranting blogger.....

NO NATION....AT LEAST NO NATION FOR THE PAST 5000 OR SO YEARS......

HAS EVER BEEN ABLE TO RUN A DEFICIT SIMILAR TO OURS AND NOT BEEN PHYSICALLY DESTROYED..........

ROMAN EMPIRE.....ENGLISH EMPIRE......PERSIAN EMPIRE.....SPANISH EMPIRE........GERMAN EMPIRE........GREEK EMPIRE.........

we could go on and on while the sheep keep watching the ticker and not the deficit......

Remember when Warren Buffett used to warn about the deficit?

We are now running a deficit eqaul to handing $50K to the top 10% income earners bracket of EVERY man, woman and child in America.....the funny part is that the average family of four in the top 10% of income earners doesn't earn close to $200K per year.....

If we as a nation do nothing to address the deficit....it will address us.....one way or the other....

Maybe we can be the first to not only survive, but thrive forever under such a system! You need a good dose of hope alstry! If we all work together and put faith in the system, we can make it happen.

Actually....on a relative basis....the Roman....German....and other empires were much stronger than we are today....

The only reason we have an economy today is because of our deficit....

If you back out the Deficit......America doesn't have much of an economy.....

Why do you think Buffett NEVER talks about the deficit anymore?
