This could be the most thankless job in the world. Dr Ron Paul is lucky he is not going to walk into this mess. My positions would be the same as Ron Pauls.

Why Dr Ron Paul?

He has never voted to raise taxes.

He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.

He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.

He has never voted to raise congressional pay.

He has never taken a government-paid junket.

He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.

He voted against regulating the Internet.

He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program. He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

But people are pushing for me to run...

Not sure I agree with him on his Patriot Act vote, but I agree with the rest, plus potentially a few other things I know he's in favour of.

But since I'm Canadian, I likely wouldn't be voting for him no matter what.  You guys have laws against stuff like that.

Maybe if I was an illegal immigrant or something.

kdakota630,

There is nothing Patriotic about the Patriot Act. Just because you are not a citizen does not mean you cannot vote. Sense when?

Col,

It is hard to remember? Just call me Mr President!

thepull,

never never, NeverNever, NEVER!

Lol, you think this is over? It is just begining. Unless they kill then internet, which they might.

Great vid! Really funny. I liked the old ladies at the end, they were hot. The one that didn't show her support should have done a little Pussy Cat Dolls "Don't You Wish Your Girlfriend Was Hot Like Me?"

When RP gives it back during the debate, it just makes me wonder WTF. The guy should have been in there. How is it that we get McCain instead of a real candidate like Ron Paul. I am still shaking my head over that one.

Put me into office and you'll see house clearing like no other. I would like to see open fist fighting on the floors of congress, especially when they are screwing up or someone is trying to waste tax payers money on self serving provisions. Real change will be messy.

anyone notice that the bank regulator guys are all bald ???

free money and still the banks are in trouble...
