After doing a little research, only an idiot or a delusional Fool could believe that 9-11 happened anywhere close to as represented....how stupid can we be to believe that the highly trained and well funded terrorists simply want to attack our most guarded and protected aspect of our society....airline travel as a way to attack our "freedoms"

But maybe, too much freedom is a bad thing.....
Maybe 9-11 set the world and humanity on a path for our own good....
It allowed government to clamp down on our civil rights, invade our privacy and feel up our junk..
It permitted banks and public companies to commit fraud on a scale never seen before......
But most of all.....by blowing up the financial system....it forced Americans and Europeans to consume less...much less of our natural resources
We are not consuming as many new homes...about 90% less....or cars...about 40% less.....or airline flights......about 30% less.....
We are consuming less of the world's naturual resources....especially carbon as energy consumption is down for three years in a row...unprececendented in American History...
Maybe the bankers are doing this for our own good.....we have become like a herd of deer in the woods consuming itself to death....and if we kept consuming....the herd would perish.....
Yes... a few thousand Americans died....and thousands soldiers, tens of thousands of injured, and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi men, women and children......we are talking about humanity after all and we are all humans.....at least those making the decisions are human and they want a sustainable world to live in....we all do...
If we didn't stop consuming from the previous growth path and existing consumption base....one more double of consumption and we would have extinguished the world's resources in short order....the scientists tell us so....
So maybe, just maybe, the bankers are actually doing God's work....they are saving humanity from itself......just like when the herd grows too much and consumes too much of the woods....the hunter must cull the herd to save it from itself.
9-11 MAY HAVE BEEN THE MOST HUMAN WAY.....humans just can't stop consuming.....they are adicted to consumption.....especially we American consumers....maybe we are the terrorists....the terrorists to humanity.....and this writer used to be one of the worst offenders....I used to own a Hummer and a very large engined German all wheel drive car.....
We are consumption animals polluting and destroying the earth.....
Just look at the savages rushing into the stores on Black Friday....any bets a HUGE percentage of them are on welfare....unemployment......food stamps.......not paying their mortgages.........but they just can't stop consuming......the TV tells them to do so....they just can't help it.....just look at their faces......it is not their fault
No wonder the bankers are doing what they are doing.....they are doing it for our own good.....if we kept consuming like we were.....there would have been nothing left to consume.......and Massive wars would have broken out all over the world between men to see who got to consume the little that was left.....children would have been slaughtered....women raped....and maybe a few men too....
whoops....maybe that is about to happen now......unless austerity kicks in even more........fast
Welcome to the Digital Age....where consumption will be MORE digital and LESS natural resources....the question is how do we get there.....?
