Just a post to mark having pitches for all my active CAPS picks.
Figured if TMFDeej could do it for 200, I could do the handful left to get all of mine done.
+1 rec Russ.
Now I need to go read them all :)
Congratulations, you are so cool.
Kudos Russ. Welcome aboard :). I love it when people have pitches for their picks. I'll check them out. It makes searching for ideas so much easier so see why others like a company.
See you around.
I'll never make it to that point. Awesome accomplishment. I get too carried away and they just become so long, I'll never manage to pitch most of them. I think I've got pitches for somewhere around 40 of mine.
I have almost never written a "pitch" other than those stating how many shares my "fund" holds. And even those are too much work to keep up to date, I think. I think my "track record" is enough to give my recommendations some "weight" ...
I do recommend pitches occasionally though. zzlangerhans unwillingly has become one of the major fund advisors (the other one am I (<- I prefer that to "is me", not sure what the style/grammar rules say about it)) via his pitches and posts.
My player with the best track record is portefeuille2 by the way.
Thanks for the comments.
port - your record definitely speaks for itself.
I use pitches as an investing journal. I've had cases where I picked something, then couldn't remember what I liked about it and pitches help avoid memory fail.
Don't know if I could/would put the time to pitch all picks if I carried 200, had a lot of turn over or was actively running accounts with multiple strategies.
