Alliance Fiber Optic Products Inc. (AFOP)

I may be a little late to the party on this one but it looks promising. It is a micro cap, with room to run, no debt, and 34% inside ownership. It has more going for it than I just listed, but why spoil your fun? I'm sure you are aching to do a little DD of your own. At this point it strikes me as being like SNHY but with information instead of hydrolics. As I dig deeper my opinion may change but as of this time I like what I see.

With the company being so small and the insider and institutional investors owning less than 50% of the company combined I can see this being a buyout target down the road. This may or may not be a good thing, depending on your point of view.

Disclosure: I have no plans to purchase ANYTHING until September or October of this year. Until then I'm trying to contribute to the community when I can.

I have a few microcap ideas for you.  You should check out Wolf, Aray, and Lcav.  Lcav is a turnaround play that restructured and just posted a profitable quarter.  Great Wolf Resorts hasn't been profitable for a couple of years but they are turning around and their stock has been shooting up recently as it has become apparent that they will be profitable this summer.  I wrote a blog about those 2 awhile back you should read.  Aray is a company that does precision surgical radiation treatments and just recently made an acquisition.  Their stock pulled back a bunch today so I bought some.

Thanks. ARAY was on my radar a couple of years ago. It looked to be a perfect Peter Lynch pick. I decided not to buy it at the time because I was strongly focused on other types of companies. I appreciate you presenting it to me. I'll have to revist it. I look forward to looking into WOLF and LCAV. They are unknown to me. I appreciate the leads.
