Issues of Fact: Alexa dropping rank in Alexa Global 500 rankings  (supportive Traffic detail data ) 

Ali Jenab is not the person to take LNUX to the next level and the longer he remains as CEO LNUX shareholder value will commensurately be destroyed in lockstep with SourceForge rankings...Jenab actually sounds giddy in the most recent conference call describing his experience at a recent industry conference how many of the attendants use sourceforge.net. Excellent prima facie evidence Jenab is relying upon hearsay evidence to relay LNUX shareholder value while, in fact, SourceForge.net is dropping in traffic rankings...Ali, LNUX shareholders are looking for shareholder value creation, not rock stars.

Simon Cowel: "My advice would be if you want to pursue a career in the shareholder value creation business, don't."

I read slashdot.org every day and am always surprised at how little effort is put forth at monetizing that site.

Then again, if LNUX were to push hard to monetize their internet properties, the open-source-linux-everything-should-free crowd would simply stop visting the site.

Honestly, they are in a bit of a catch-22.

Also, if you read around more, you will find that many open-source developers have some significant complaints about SourceForge. They also are now facing competition of Google's Code system (code.google.com)
