an open letter to Carl Icahn: please do not mess up my investment
I will be the first to agree that the boardrooms of corporate America can resemble the calcified coronary arteries of someone with one foot in the grave. I have watched, sometimes with amusement, you give same a swift kick in the pants. Sometimes they deserve it, sometimes it works, sometimes I agree with it, but sometimes not.
Now, however, you are diddling with AAPL, whose stock I own. The shoe is on the other foot, and I neither wish nor appreciate your meddling in a company that I own. It is a premium company that does not need your help. I suggest you sit down, and quietly enjoy the reasonable dividend and the low PEGR.
