Another Realtor-Endorsed Ripoff

No surprise here. The NAR would like people who don't build their homes on sandbars in hurricane zones to subsidize the overpriced real estate owned by those who do. Anything to try and pump up home sales again, I guess.

Know what's really unfair? If I buy a Ferrari, the insurance rates are nuts. Totally unfair. How much would it take to buy a congressman to tack on a rider that would subsidize my Ferrari insurance? I don't see why I should have to bear the risks of my behavior, nor the costs of insuring them.

The very idea that one should be responsible for one's actions! Who would try to maintain that with a straght face?

Sure, it's socialism for homeowners and capitalism for renters. No wonder everybody wants to live under socialism.

Pfft. I bet every pinko terrorist out there is a renter. Who ever heard of a guy with a house doing anything bad? Home ownership is the American Dream. Just ask any mortgage banker, real estate agent, or siding salesman.
