My gut feeling tells me nuclear sell off is overdone.  But I know nothing about it...I don't know the terms, I don't know the pro's and con's, how it works, who uses it, the economics of it...almost nothing.  I can obviously google it, but I didn't know if there was a good intro video/blog/website to get me started on the right path.  Anyone?  Thanks in advance.

Something like how stuff works would be good. I have a lot of reference books but the stuff I have you can't buy. You could check the NRC website. Many design documents are open to the public.

I've toured this particular power plant. I was so impressed that later on I decided to invest in Duke.

valyooo, I would propose that you get a quote on a solar array that can actually run your house.  I think you will get sticker shock.

I know you are a smart guy.  If you run the numbers I think you will conclude that current solar technology isn't a very good deal.
