Wow!  Magic turds...

What are the input costs?  How much grass does it take to generate a kilowatt?

When my lawn is gone, and my neighbor won't share his lawn because he's trying to get rich off his cow too, then what?

Maybe we could form a cow-op.

We could sell our excess energy back to the power company.  It would be measured in BGUs. (Bovine Generation Units).

This will require strict regulation.

People attempting to transport cowsh!t across state lines without authorization must be punished.

Anyone attempting  to peddle low-grade counterfeit cowsh!t will be prosecuted.

Sooner or later someone will figure out how to get high on it, after which it will be necessary to declare cowsh!t a controlled substance requiring a special license authorizing possession.

Our resources must be protected.  Any unscrupulous characters suspected of trying to extract the cowsh!t from the cow  prematurely for profit may pose a threat to the animal.  These people will be prosecuted.

If the value of the amount of cowsh!t exchanged in an arms-length transaction exceeds that of the value of the goods received, the amount by which the value of the cowsh!t exceeds the value of the goods given will be recognized as revenue and taxed accordingly.

Taxes, however, may not be paid in cowsh!t.

Total sales = 0 . Forget about considering actual income figures...

The rapper 50 Cent has a simple rule: " Turn Sh!t Into Sugar " .

Right now Blue Sphere is doing the exact opposite.

Not that it stinks as such ... it's just a lot of hot air right now :)

Well, first we must measure the amount of Free Cowsh!t Flow produced per acre of grass, and multiply that by the current price of Cowsh!t at the time, in order to place a value on the Free Cowsh!t Flow per acre of land.

Then we have to multiply the result by the amount of investment divided by the cost per acre of land. This will give us the amount of Free Cowsh!t Flow we can expect from our investment, but from that we must subtract the Cost Of Cowsh!t Produced, which would be the cost involved in planting more grass seed and maintaining the land.

This will give us our Gross Cowsh!t Profit.  After subtracting fixed costs such as the cost of maintaining the barns, storing the cowsh!t, and the cost involved in either converting it to electricity or transporting it to town to be sold, we will arrive at our Earnings Before Taxes, Interest, Depletion, and Amortization.  (EBITDA)

The cost of the cow must be written off over its useful life  (Depletion).

After subtracting taxes, Interest, and depletion we get our Net Cowsh!t Income.

The current price of cowsh!t at any time will vary.  In order to make $247,300, you must figure your Net Cowsh!t Margin, so you must divide your Net Cowsh!t Income by the value of the Free Cowsh!t Flow required at the current price of Cowsh!t, divided by the cost of the land.
