At What Point Is It Treason???

October 14, 2009 – Comments (6)

When your government is no longer representing the interests of the American people....but the interests of a few bankers......????

Then ask yourself.....what if the bankers interest is to shut you down and bankrupt you and take over control nation's economy all for themselves????

While the we are shutting down public transportation and/or increasing costs across the nation due to budget cutbacks.....we get this today????

Repost:  Colorado Minimum Wage to Drop as of January 1

Bankers being awarded the biggest bonuses in history???......

Imagine if your actual goal was to drive a nation into internal conflict and create rioting.....thereby setting the stage for military control......what better way to upset the nation then cut off the citizens from credit, cut their jobs, slash their income.......and raise the costs of everything they buy and tax the rest....while handing trillions of taxpayer dollars to a select few on Wall Street???????

If you want to talk to some really upset individuals....go talk to some local and community bankers and ask them how they are getting squeezed while Wall Street is getting anything they want.

Then ask yourself, if Wall Street can get money for free and loan it back to America for a huge profit....why can't citizens get the same treatment?

Captialism is about fairness.....equal treatment for the participants....when only a few get to is called Facism.

Get ready....when you are slashing the wages and wealth of the many......and handing it over to the few.......crazy things happen.

Now we begin slashing millions of health care and government workers which will lead to millions of other jobs lost.

Ummmm, Al, I don't know man, you seem to be flipping out the past few weeks.  The bs happened under GWB, things are slowling getting better right now.  While I know people like things to happen NOW, the simple fact is that it will take a few years to retrench.

To whine, yeah, I think you've gone there lately, about bailing out the banking system at this point makes little sense.  Heck, the party in control is doing what you want in reality.  They are putting some checks on the banksters who have been skimming the system for the past decade (really longer, but really bad since late 1999), you should like that.

One last thing, repeat after me, debt when you get a return, is good.  If we in fact go on a major alternative energy buildout and build sewage plants that recharge the ground water instead of allowing the water to be drained and polluted over the next decade, this country will relatively quickly- under a generation's time- become the richest on the planet again.  Believe it, stop whining and start agitating for the one type of change that will save the nation- your nation needs you.

When XOM was posting record profits, there was all this talk about a windfall profits tax.  XOM wasn't paying average bonuses of hundreds of thousands and they hadn't received billions in gov't support.  Why is there no talk of a windfall profits tax on these banks?  I know they have billions in losses still coming, but if that's the case, why pay any bonuses?  Add this bonus money to your loss reserves or have it taxed 100%.

When you infect a nation with $25 Trillion dollars of debt in a few years, then cut it off of credit......lots of stuff fails....especially when there is only a few trillion in the bank.

I don't think Alstry is blaming this on Obama.  I believe he's made it clear that he's not a fan of Bush as well.  However, this mess wasn't created entirely by Bush, and the Obama administration's response hasn't been any different than if Bush was still in office.  "They are putting some checks on the banksters who have been skimming the system for the past decade."  Has anything actually been done yet?  No president is going to change anything.  Congress has the power to get things done, but many in Congress are worse than Bush or Obama.

The President is the executive branch, enforcement is his domain.  It's where Bush utterly failed and where Obama is getting skewered by idiots who want the status quo.  Obama's admin is making great headway, and I say that from a guy in the business who is very upset with his industry.

There's tons more, I just don't have time. Look around.

With all due respect, the change in minimum wage in CO is 4 cents.  No one working for minimum wage is going to notice a decrease in 4 cents per hour.  In one full work week, that's a loss of $1.60 a week, unnoticeable.  Lets not make mountains over crumbles
